Leader in McKinsey's Diversity & Inclusion practice with extensive experience transforming D&I performance at clients across industries. Recently co-authored "Diversity Wins: How Inclusion Matters" on the link between financial performance and systematic, business-led approaches to D&I.

 

Ana Mendy, Partner

Leader in McKinsey's Diversity & Inclusion practice as well as GLAM, the firm's LGBTQ+ affinity group. Has served clients across the full span of their D&I journeys, ranging from data-based diagnostics to the development and implementation of robust D&I interventions. Recently co-authored McKinsey research on the representation and experiences of LGBTQ+ employees in the workplace.

 

Gavin Sullivan, Engagement Manager

Member of McKinsey's Diversity & Inclusion practice with experience serving clients across industries, including hospitality, technology, and telecom. Recently co-authored McKinsey research on the representation and experiences of LGBTQ+ employees in the workplace.

 

Session Objectives:

The global pandemic and continued protests against racism and police brutality have presented a turning point on diversity & inclusion. HR leaders will play a central role in shaping this “next normal.” Companies that reimagine their approach to D&I will emerge from the crisis stronger—while those that don’t will face a significant penalty.
