Digital Disruption and the Workforce of the Future – Implications for HR
Chris Chu, Managing Director, Accenture Strategy
Digital is not the future of the workplace, it is the present and happening today. HR leaders need to experiment with all facets of Digital to deliver value to their organization. What are other companies doing? What investments make sense, and which ones are a waste of money? What capabilities are required in the HR organization to contribute to a smoother transformation to Digital?
In this workshop, Chris Chu will provide an overview on the trends, experiences and impacts of Digital (AI, Automation, and Robotics) on organizations, culture, talent and leadership. He will discuss implications on how this affects the role of HR organizations and Talent Management capabilities.
The session will also include an overview on some examples of how HR organizations are designing capabilities and preparing for this accelerated change. This includes a case study on how SVB is managing the complexity of this Digital impact on the global workforce.
In addition to the insights learned from his practice at Accenture, Chris will engage the participants in a dialogue and discussion regarding how these experiences can help prepare the attendees’ respective organization for the Digital transformation.
Who should attend: This workshop is open to senior HR executives and their staff, a maximum of three participants per company.
